Acro Kids offer fun, energetic, non-competitive, recreational gymnastics and parkour programs and kids parties designed for children aged 4mths and up of all levels of ability from beginner to advanced. Our team at Acro Kids are a group of amazing individuals, each unique in their own special way.
At Acro Kids we have created our team by design, we strongly believe in hiring the right people – those that are kind and caring but also energetic and love to have fun! We’re also the type of people that love to bring a smile to a child’s face and love seeing them learn and grow in confidence.

Our team comes from a range of backgrounds; from those who have gymnastics and parkour experience to cheerleaders and dance teachers and even childcare educators. Whilst we’re a diverse bunch, we all share a common passion for building confidence in kids through movement.

senior lead coach
Mornington
Role description:
Our awesome team of coaches are responsible for ensuring that every child has a positive experience at Acro Kids. To succeed in achieving this, you will display endless energy and enthusiasm and you will be comfortable engaging with children and parents alike. You will be an inspiring, confident leader, enjoy problem solving and have a can do attitude!
More details:
- This is a part time permanent role, however full time is available for the ‘right person’
- Part time hours will be 1.30pm-7.30pm Monday – Thursday and 8am-1pm Saturday during the school term. During school holidays shifts will vary between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
- This role is based at our Mornington venue.
- You’ll be engaging with students and families, guiding and leading our coaches and ensuring the safety of everyone.
- You’ll be creating programs with our leadership team and developing junior coaches.
- You will jump in when coaches need guidance/assistance and coach children when needed.
To be considered for this position, you will:
- You’ll have experience working in a gymnastics coaching role, ideally in an intermediate or lead position and hold a minimum gymnastics intermediate coaching qualification.
- Be available to work the hours mentioned above.
- Be a born ‘people person’, you LOVE engaging with kids and adults.

casual mini & kinder acro coach
Braeside
Role description:
Our awesome team of mini acro and kinder coaches are responsible for ensuring that every child has a positive experience at Acro Kids. To succeed in achieving this, you will display endless energy and enthusiasm and you will be comfortable engaging with children and parents alike.
More details:
- You’ll be rostered for 4-5 shifts per week, approximately 15-20 hours.
- This role is at our Braeside venue.
- Your shifts will be between the hours of 8:45am-1.30pm Monday-Friday during the school term. During school holidays hours may vary.
- You’ll be coaching our mini acro and kinder classes for 1-5 yr olds and private coaching sessions as required.
To be considered for this position, you will:
- Ideally you’ll have experience working in a coaching role (sport, fitness or gymnastics) and hold a relevant coaching qualification. Alternatively you may have experience and qualifications in teaching or early childhood development. However this is not essential as training and development will be offered to the ‘right’ person.
- Be available to work a minimum 4 shifts between the hours of 8:45am-1.30pm Monday-Friday.
- Be a born ‘people person’, you LOVE engaging with kids.

Role description:
Our awesome team of coaches are responsible for ensuring that every child has a positive experience at Acro Kids. To succeed in achieving this, you will display endless energy and enthusiasm and you will be comfortable engaging with children and parents alike.
More details:
- You’ll be rostered for 2-4 shifts per week of between 3 – 5 hours each
- Your shifts will be during afternoons 3.30pm-7.30pm, weekends between 8.30am-5pm and school holidays 8am-5pm approx.
- You’ll be running our parkour classes and holiday programs and possibly even hosting our super fun parties.
- Located at either of our Mornington or Braeside venues.
To be considered for this position, you will:
- Be a PARKOUR enthusiast!
- Be a born ‘people person’, you LOVE engaging with kids.
- Be a naturally fun, bubbly and positive personality
- Be available to work at least 2-4 shifts per week as per the hours mentioned above
- Preferably have some experience working in a coaching role (sport and fitness / gymnastics / parkour) or participating in a sport.

Role description:

- You’ll be rostered for 2-3 shifts per week of between 3 and 8 hours each
- You’ll be working at either our Braeside or Mornington venues
- Your shifts will be during afternoons 4-7.30pm, weekends between 8.30am-5pm and school holidays 8am-5pm approx.
- You’ll be assisting/coaching our classes and holiday programs and hosting our super fun parties.
To be considered for this position, you will:
- Be available to work at least 2-3 shifts per week after school, weekends and school holidays
- Be a born ‘people person’, you LOVE engaging with kids.
- Be a naturally fun, bubbly and positive personality
- Have an interest in tumbling, gymnastics or parkour and be able to do cool skills/tricks!
- Be reliable!
